Refund Policy

How refunds, cancellations, and payment disputes are handled for services purchased from Zee Scalar.

Introduction

This Refund Policy applies to services provided by Zee Scalar ("Zee Scalar", "we", "our", or "us"). By purchasing our services, you agree to this Refund Policy in addition to our Terms and Conditions.

1. Nature of Our Services

Zee Scalar provides custom digital services including website development, web applications, UI/UX design, branding, DevOps solutions, digital marketing, consulting, and related services.

Because our services are customized and work typically begins shortly after project approval and payment, traditional return policies applicable to physical products do not apply.

2. Payments Are Generally Non-Refundable Once Work Begins

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed in writing, payments made for Zee Scalar services are non-refundable once work has started.

This includes activities such as discovery sessions, planning, research, design, development, deployment, consulting, strategy work, marketing campaigns, or any other project-related effort.

Deposits and milestone payments compensate for time, expertise, and resources allocated to your project.

3. Cancellation Before Work Begins

If you cancel your project before substantial work has begun, Zee Scalar may, at its sole discretion:

  • Issue a partial refund.
  • Deduct any non-recoverable expenses already incurred.
  • Provide credit toward future services.

Examples of non-recoverable costs include purchased software licenses, premium tools, domain registrations, hosting fees, stock assets, and third-party subscriptions acquired specifically for your project.

4. Completed Deliverables

Once agreed deliverables have been completed, delivered, approved, or made accessible to you, refunds are generally not available.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Website designs and prototypes.
  • Source code and repositories.
  • Deployed applications.
  • Branding assets and design files.
  • Marketing deliverables and campaign work.
  • Consulting services and strategy sessions.

5. Project Delays and Client Responsibility

Refunds will not be issued for delays caused by:

  • Late feedback or approvals.
  • Missing content, assets, or requirements.
  • Changes in project scope.
  • Failure to communicate in a timely manner.

We will work with clients to accommodate reasonable delays whenever possible.

6. Quality Concerns and Disputes

If you believe our work does not match the agreed project scope, proposal, or statement of work, please contact us promptly.

Zee Scalar will review concerns in good faith and make reasonable efforts to resolve issues through revisions, corrections, or other mutually agreed solutions.

Requesting a refund does not replace the revision and acceptance procedures outlined in your project agreement.

7. Chargebacks and Payment Reversals

If a chargeback or payment reversal is initiated without first attempting to resolve the matter directly with Zee Scalar, we reserve the right to:

  • Suspend ongoing work.
  • Revoke access to deliverables where legally permitted.
  • Pursue available legal or contractual remedies.

We encourage clients to contact us before disputing charges with a payment provider or financial institution.

8. Third-Party Services and Purchases

Payments made directly to third-party providers are governed by those providers' refund policies.

This may include:

  • Domain registrars.
  • Hosting providers.
  • Cloud platforms.
  • Software subscriptions.
  • Stock image and asset providers.
  • Advertising platforms.

Zee Scalar does not control and cannot guarantee refunds from these third-party services.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any updates will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

The version of this policy in effect at the time of purchase, together with any applicable service agreement, will govern your transaction.
